Attacker faces jail

A 32-year-old Oldbury man has been warned he could face jail for making two sex attacks on a schoolgirl.

Mohammed Shaban, of Barker Street, admitted two charges of indecently assaulting the girl when she was under 16 at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Wednesday. He was remanded on bail until April 30 for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.

Shaban, a man of previous good character, was told by Judge John Warner the fact he was being allowed bail did not in any way tie the hands of the judge who would deal with the case and all options were open.

Sean Sidhu-Brar, defending, asked for the pre-sentence report so the court could have all the information it needed on Shaban.
